Shilpa sends a message to Jade

She had hoped to meet with Jade in person one last time, but unfortunately for Celeb BB winner Shilpa Shetty, her ex-fellow housemate was just too ill. Leaving a meeting with Jade's publicist Max Clifford in central London, Shilpa told reporters, "I just hope that the family and she are able to cope with the pain. She is in my prayers." Despite their turbulent history, Jade and Shilpa had become close up to and including the time Jade was given her cancer diagnosis, and it was on the Indian version of Big Brother where Jade was given the awful news. Doesn't all that arguing over a chicken seem so long ago and so trivial now?

oh for god sake - if people want to visit Jade for the right reasons then they don't need to alert the press. Jordan, Shilpa etc etc get off the bandwagon FFS.

I think the way Shilpa handled the situation during and after was great. She never sank to her bullies level and isntead of jumping on the bandwagon of hate with the public was a respectful person and forgave Jade.

How does one get into anothers prayers?? Is it a matter of just climbing and doing laps or do you have to ring the doorbell? Its an often used phrase and I quite fancy getting into prayers. It sounds like a groovy place

I agree angel, I think that although Jade was definately wrong Jo was the ring leader, she didn't like Shilpa from the start and Jade's ignorance, naiivity and need to please Jo is why she joined in and as we all know she gets carried away.

totally. i always found it such a shame, because what could have been an education into the wrongs of racism turned into a witch hunt which, as mentioned by some of the other posters, focused solely on jade when she was by no means the only one
