Yikes! Britney's been getting death threats

We often daydream about being famous, but when something like this happens, we quickly become grateful to be just a normal(ish) human being who nobody ever looks at (well, except that shifty-looking man on the bus who smells slightly of old piss, but he doesn't count). Being a celebrity can sometimes just be plain scary. Take Britney Spears for example; the Pop Princess has reportedly been receiving death threats while on tour and, even more sickeningly, threats that her two sons will be kidnapped. A source claiming to be close to the star said yesterday, "'Britney received some anonymous death threats over the phone and in the mail. She's been having terrible nightmares ever since." However, representatives for Britney say that the tour is still going well, and that there have been no plans to change anything in light of these rumours. It's all a bit unnerving, isn't it? Perhaps if Brit put in a call to Simon Cowell - or indeed George Sampson - they would lend her Big Dave for protection...
