Shilpa heads for Albert Square and an old face returns, too!

Ooh, EastEnders bosses are really pulling the stops out of at the moment, aren't they? First, we had the best news ever (eg Danny HOT Dyer joining the BBC soap), and now it looks like two more big name stars will also be joining the cast. First up is Shilpa Shetty, who insiders say is in talks with the show to join as part of a new family later in the year. Shilpa previously turned down a role on the soap in 2007 as Phil Mitchell's love interest (we wonder why?) but now the Bollywood star has moved to Surrey and looks set to be searching for UK based jobs. The other name in the frame is Jessie Wallace, who apparently has been telling her mates that she's returning to 'Enders as Kat Slater. Hurrah! We can't think of anything better than watching Jessie strutting around in some leopard-print minidress once again. Let's hope all these rumours are true – we'll be glued to 'Enders if so.
