Oh no! The fittest Apprentice has already been fired!
We're sure we weren't the only ones wailing at our TV in outrage last night, after cheeky chappie Rocky became the second casualty of The Apprentice boardroom. The 21-year-old former footballer incurred the wrath of Sir Alan after his team managed to make a loss – gasp! – during the catering task. OK, so dressing your slightly pudgy and awkward team members in togas and asking them to serve cheese and pickle on sticks to high-flying business professionals wasn't the best idea we've seen on The Apprentice, but Rocky was literally the only male we really enjoyed looking at. Sigh... Rocky himself was understandably miffed to be given the boot so early in the competition, and has since claimed that it is Sir Alan's "prejudice" against northerners that saw him given his marching orders. Nothing to do with the tacky gold tablecloths and £200 loss, then? Talking about his experience last night, Rocky said, "I respect Sir Alan, but at the end of the day he's a southerner and he always seems to employ southerners." Hmm, sounds a touch bitter to us. heatworld personally thought James "I did a little bit of wee" McQuillan should have been the one to go – but what did you think?

Jack’s emotional farewell to Jade
Distraught Jack Tweed yesterday said his final farewell to his late wife Jade during an emotional visit to the funeral parlour where she has been laid out. Jack told friends, "I want to say goodbye," before spending 15 minutes alone with her. Emerging teary-eyed, Jack then paused to examine the huge collection of floral tributes that have been left outside the funeral home. One of his close pals said last night, "He asked to have some time alone with Jade. He wanted to say goodbye." Meanwhile it has been reported that police are planning to close off at least two roads near Buckhurst Hill in Essex this Saturday to cope with the huge crowds expected for the BB star's funeral. The floral tributes left now total almost 2,000.

Cheryl and Ashley to renew their vows
We're not too sure we believe this, but apparently Ashley Cole wants to whisk wife Cheryl off to Al Mahra resort in Dubai to renew their wedding vows. It's reported that Ashley has been plotting the romantic break for some time, and will take Cheryl away at the end of the football season this summer – back to the spot in the desert where he proposed before in 2005. Now all that's left for him to do is buy yet another expensive ring for Cheryl. A source said, "Ashley is setting the scene to renew his vows with Cheryl. He has been planning to do something special this summer to prove their relationship is back to how it was. It has been difficult to find a date. His football commitments and her diary only allow for a four-day break." From what we heard, Cheryl isn't a big fan of the whole vow renewing business, so watch this space!

Russell joins G20 protest – but doesn't get his dinkle out. Boo
It all got a bit hectic and scary here in London yesterday, as thousands of G20 protesters descended on the capital's financial district. Among them was none other than Russell Brand who, as we all know, used to be a regular at these sorts of events. Although he did not climb on top of a van and wave his dinkle around this time, Russell did have a few words to say about his participation. "I'm here to learn," he explained, "The global economy is in meltdown and I'm interested in what alternatives there might be." We forget Russell can be so articulate about political and serious issues. Perhaps because he spends so much time talking about ladies and/or parading naked on hotel balconies! Were you involved in the protest yesterday? And did you spot any celebs in the crowds?
