Cheryl speaks out about wedding vow rumours

We were a little skeptical this morning when we told you about the tabloid reports that Cheryl and Ashley Cole were planning to renew their wedding vows – and it seems we were right to be. According to the reports, Ashley was keen to “do something special” to show his commitment to Cheryl – but her people have just informed us that it’s a load of twaddle. “It’s absolute rubbish,” says a spokesman for Chezza. “It’s not true that they’re planning to renew their vows.” As much as we’d like to have a nosey at pictures from such a ceremony if it did happen, we’re kind of relieved too – surely vow renewal is more suited to couples reaching the autumn of their lives than two twenty-somethings who’ve only been hitched for a couple of years anyway?
