Pop idol found dead

A prominent Egyptian businessman has been arrested and charged with murdering the winner of the Lebanese version of Pop Idol, according to new shocking reports. Suzanne Tamim, one of the country’s biggest pop stars, was found dead in her luxury Dubai apartment on 28 July with her throat slit. Now, Hisham Talaat Moustafa has been accused of ordering the singer’s murder, paying a hitman a rumoured $2million to kill her. According to reports, the hitman pretended to bring a letter to Tamim in her apartment, before fatally attacking her. The murder is thought to have been an act of revenge, with Arab papers speculating the Tamim had been romantically involved with married father-of-three Moustafa.
