Just when we thought Paris couldn’t get any more smug and annoying…

We’ve all got one of those friends who we never hear from when they’re loved up. Suddenly, their only social life consists of Scrabble nights with other coupley friends and they can’t so much as leave the house without their “other half” surgically attached to their hip. Of course, when the beau in question breaks their heart two days/weeks/years later, they just won’t leave you alone and are suddenly suggesting “girls nights” every week. Um, not that we’re bitter. Anyhoo, it seems Paris Hilton is that girl – she’s so smug about her relationship (seven months and counting!) with Benji Madden. Now, why aren’t we surprised? "Just my whole lifestyle is different," she explains. "We don’t really go out as much anymore unless it’s for work. I just feel like an adult. When you’re single, it's different because you want to go out with your girlfriends and have fun. But when you’re in a relationship and you're in love, there is no point in going out because you just want to be together and do normal things.” Of course, we’re grudgingly happy that Paris has managed to hold down a relationship but does being in a serious love thang really mean that there’s “no point” in going out and having fun? Discuss.
