It’s just been announced that Quantum Of Solace will receive its first public screening anywhere in the world at next month’s London Film Festival. The screening will immediately follow the WORLD PREMIERE on 29 October and, unlike the invite-only premiere, tickets for the LFF event will be available to the public. The festival opens on 15 October with Frost/Nixon, directed by Ron Howard (The Da Vinci Code) and buzz on the movie is very good. The same is true of the closing night's fim Slumdog Millionaire, from Trainspotting director Danny Boyle. Guests confirmed to attend include, Penelope Cruz, Jessica Biel, Eva Green and Gywneth Paltrow. More details at www.bfi.org.uk/lff – but take note, early bookings are only available at this stage to members of the British Film Institute.
