OMG. Angelina and Brad have high hopes for three-year-old Zahara. The eternally do-gooding couple have just announced that they’ve donated $2million to build a centre to help fight HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis in Ethiopia. It will be named after their daughter Zahara, and they plan for her to run it when she’s old enough. “It is our hope when Zahara is older she will take responsibility of the clinic and continue its mission,” Brad said in a statement. Er, pressure, much? Little Maddox already has a centre named after him in Cambodia. It’s great that they want to make the world a better place, but do Maddox and Zahara have any say in these grand plans? What happens if they want to do something a bit different when they grow up, like, say, work in Starbucks? Or – heaven forbid – become film stars?

oh for gods sake they're not mapping out her future, they're donating to charity, in her name, in the country she was born, trying to give something back! someone was right when they said she'll be on a board of trustees not mopping the floors!!

Parents have no right to choose what their child will do when they grow up (though so many believe they do). Roots and wings.
