Overdose blamed for Winona hospital dash

As you may have heard, Winona Ryder was rushed to hospital last night after being taken ill on a flight from Los Angeles to London – and it’s now been reported that she overdosed on tranquilizers. Apparently Winona accidentally took too many Xanax pills, as she has a fear of flying. The plane was given a priority landing after the crew reported that Winona had been taken ill and, on arriving at Heathrow, she was rushed to hospital in nearby Hillingdon, west London, but has now been discharged. “She did fall ill on a plane and as a precautionary measure they took her to hospital,” confirmed her spokeswoman. “She was there for an hour. She's in good health. There's no drama.” Winona has since caught another flight to Europe, but hopefully she stayed awake for this one…
