Lindsay and Sam have the mother of all fights

Pictures of random boozy ne’er do wells tearing each other’s hair out on New Year’s Eve were all over the tabloids – but, over in Miami, two NYE brawlers were a little more well-known… Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson. According to reports in the US, the fiery couple had a huge fight in a dodgy alleyway near a nightclub, and were even seen throwing punches at each other. “It was a really gross alley,” says one onlooker. “There was a bum eating a sandwich watching the whole thing.” We think that “bum” means “tramp” in this instance, although we now have an amusing mental image of an actual bottom wolfing down a tasty panini, and it’s really distracting us from the matter at hand. Erm, where were we? Lindsay and Sam, Lindsay and Sam… “They were punching each other – it was bad,” says another witness, this time at the hotel where the fight continued well into the next day. “And they were doing this in front of all of us. It was scary. At one point, Lohan dropped to her knees and cried, 'Why are you doing this to me?' Sam just said, 'I don't know you.'” Unusually, a spokeswoman for Lindsay has actually confirmed that the spat took place. “There was an argument,” she says. “I don't know the details, but they left for Los Angeles together and it's fine.” Er, it doesn’t sound fine, does it? Anyway, we’re back to thinking about those sandwich-munching bum-cheeks…
