Things are going VERY well for Britney

We are relieved, very relieved. Following the success of her recurring role on US sitcom How I Met Your Mother and general lack of crazy drama in her life, Brit is back in the studio already! According to sources, she's in the "experimental stages of a new album" – the follow up to Blackout, which only came out last October – bashing out some song ideas at the piano with producer/pal/ex-boyfriend JR Rotem. At a recent music awards ceremony, Rotem told reporters: "She's great. She's like a master at what she does. She's a lot more experienced than most people. She just has the 'it' factor that not every artist has. So it's always nice to work with her." She's also been working with another producer, Sean Garrett, who said, "I'm just happy to see her back and recovering. She's really shaping up and getting her whole situation back together. I'm really proud and happy to see her." There's also rumours of a major Las Vegas comeback  extravaganza , which would be ay-may-zing and have us booking the first flights out to Sin City, but we'll believe that when it's actually confirmed... In the meantime, yay for Brit finally getting things back on track!
