Why Lily dyed her hair again…

We thought Lily Allen just got rid of the pink barnet because, well, it had started to look a bit rubbish – but it turns out there is actually method to her madness. Lily has said in her MySpace blog that she actually went “back to black” in honour of her nan, who died last weekend. “It has been a tough week,” she wrote. “You may have heard my nan passed away last weekend, we were close and even though she had been very ill for the last few years, it was a big shock , and surreal to find out at Glastonbury… Anyway the point is my nan would have killed me if I went to her funeral with pink hair.” Lily also says she was bored of the pink – we wonder what her new-old boyfriend Ed thought of it. As we revealed earlier, she’s got back together with the Chemical Brothers star – they’ve even changed their Facebook relationship statuses and everyone knows that’s a very serious business indeed…
