What do you think of Lily’s self-confessed Take That rip-off?

She’s a clever girl, that Lily Allen – she knows we’re gagging to hear her new album, so she keeps teasing us by posting new material on her MySpace page. The latest track she’s using to whet our appetites is called Who’d Of Known (who’d of known? Who’d of known? What are they teaching in schools these days?!) but Lily says it probably won’t be making it onto her album because “I ripped off the chorus from Take That and can’t be bothered with the paperwork”. It’s true that the song does have a touch of the Shine about it, but there’s nothing wrong with that. But what do you think of the track (click here for a listen) – are you excited about hearing more new stuff from Lil?

I love lily cos shes so normal, which is not normal in celeb world (if u get me) but the appeal to her music is it originality, so shes let herself down by copying someone else, and it also shows she is more of a celeb than an artist these days..
