More good news for Britney

Slowly but surely it would seem that Britney Spears really is getting her life back on track. So we reckon that she must be pretty chuffed to have been nominated for an MTV Award – if only because it must make a nice change for people to be talking about her music rather then her personal life. Britney has been nominated in the Best Female Video category for the song Piece Of Me, but she’s up against some fierce competition from Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Katy Perry and Jordin Sparks. After Britney’s embarrassingly disastrous “comeback” performance last year – the too-small underwear, the random stumbling, aargh – wouldn’t it be great to see Brit triumphing this year?
