It has just been confirmed that Amy Winehouse will be discharged from hospital today following treatment for a reaction to "medication". A spokesperson for London's University College Hospital, where Amy was rushed to last night, confirmed that the star was "bearing up well" and would be discharged shortly. Amy's father Mitch arrived at the hospital late last night clutching a bag of KFC, and when he was asked how his daughter was doing, he simply held up the bag and said, "This is how serious it is." Amy's official spokesman told reporters last night that her collapse was due to a reaction to medication, but there were suspicions that it was caused by a different type of drugs overdose. Whatever caused Amy to suffer from fits and be taken to hospital cannot be anything good, and it's certainly not the first time the star has collapsed. heatworld are praying beyond hope that Amy doesn't go straight back out on another Camden bender when she gets home tonight.
Update: It has now been confirmed that Amy Winehouse has been discharged from hospital following treatment for an allergic reaction to medication. We'll bring you updates as we have them.

If she lives the year out it will be a bloody miracle. The way she's going she'll be pushing up the daisy before the years out.
