Elton refuses to work with Lily after awards “feud”

This “feud” between Sir Elton John and Dame Lily Allen (it’s only a matter of time…) is a little confusing – while Lily dismissed their GQ Awards spat in her blog (she said “Elton and I exchanged jokes and there were no hard feelings at all. In fact, neither of us gave it a second thought”), Elton, it seems, does bear a grudge. In an interview today, the singer said he was planning to work with Lily in the future, but has now changed his mind. “I was thinking about asking her to tour with me and maybe even do a duet,” he says. “Obviously that won't be happening.” Who needs a quick recap? At the awards last week, when the pair were on stage together, Elton teased Lily about her drinking, and said “F**k off Elton, I'm 40 years younger than you, I have my whole life ahead of me” to which he retorted “I could still snort you under the table.” How mature. Still, since both parties are no strangers to airing their gripes with other stars, we think this one could run and run…
