Another disastrous night for Amy…

High society balls aren’t normally the venue of choice for Amy Winehouse but last night, she turned up at the End of Summer Ball in London to show support by singing backing vocals for her 12-year-old goddaughter Dionne. Unfortunately, things didn’t go well for Amy – looking even more gaunt than usual, she broke down in tears, sobbing “Life can’t go on. I can’t do this anymore” before lashing out at a photographer. Guests at the £750-a-ticket event were apparently shocked by Amy’s frail appearance and out of control behaviour. “It was tragic – she seemed totally wasted,” says one guest. “She was jumping all over Dionne as the poor girl tried to sing for the crowd. Amy didn’t really sing a single note – it sounded more like she was grunting down the mic. Amy was then asked to pose for the event’s official photographer, but flipped and tried to headbutt him. She looked like a woman possessed.” Eek. This was the first public appearance Amy had made in a while, but we doubt she’ll be working again in a hurry.
