What do YOU think of BANNED GHD advert?

This is the advert for GHD hair products that’s been banned by advertising watchdogs for causing offence to Christians. The series of ads (there are three in total) show saucily-clad women praying (in various languages, in case you’re confused) for great hair. The Advertising Standards Authority received 23 complaints, including one from the Archdeacon of Liverpool, many of which highlighted the use of the phrase “thy will be done”. Martin Penny, the managing director of GHD, isn’t too happy that the ads have been banned. “It has nothing to do with religion really. If it was, more people would have complained,” he says. “It is a fashion ad which is tasteful and sensitive. The ASA seem to be frightened of their own shadow.” Watch the ad for yourselves and tell us what you think…

How absurd. Everything's becoming so PC that you can't say/do anything without being 'offensive'. I swear there are people out there that watch the TV with the sole intention of being offended so they can complain. Nothing better to do. Pathetic.
