We’ve all been there, haven’t we – having a fit of the giggles at the most inappropriate of times. heatworld last did it while dumping an ex-boyfriend, it did NOT go down well. Which is why we have a lot of sympathy for this Radio 4 newsreader Charlotte Green, who couldn’t stop laughing during her news bulletin on the Today programme after she played a quite frankly shit clip of the oldest recorded human voice – a French song Clair De Lune. While she just about managed to restrain herself from laughing at the fuzzy, creepy-sounding clip, the giggles came moments later while reporting the death, yes very sad DEATH of screenwriter Abby Mann.
