Nelson Mandela personally bans air rage Naomi from his concert

Naomi Campbell once said she considered Nelson Mandela to be her grandfather – so she must be pretty gutted about this turn of events. The former South African leader has banned the fiery supermodel from his big concert on Friday because he’s so appalled by her recent air rage hoo-hah. Naomi was meant to be taking to the stage at the Hyde Park show to introduce acts – but Nelson ain’t having it. “'The man himself intervened and she was pulled off the list,” says an event insider. “He was disappointed with her recent arrest – particularly as she was wearing a 46664 [his charity, named after his former prison number] baseball cap at the time.” Naomi has frequently been involved with Mr Mandela’s charity work and the pair have been close – she even reportedly turned to him for anger management advice after she got in trouble for assaulting her housekeeper a couple of years ago.
