Katie Price, "I'm a binge-drinker"

Katie Price was on the This Morning sofa just a short while ago having a rather tough grilling from Phillip Schofield, but as well as talking about her split from Peter Andre, she was also quizzed about her motives behind that book launch which took place yesterday. As Phil quite rightly pointed out, she can't complain about the media's interest in her love life and then turn up with not only her alleged cross-dresser boyfriend dressed in drag, but also the man she was rumoured to be having a fling with, Andrew Gould. To be fair to Katie, she did hold her hands up straight away and admit she did the whole stunt to get attention for the book. "I always go over the top at my book launches, and this got people talking," she shrugged. "I'm not a fashion icon – we all know that, but I'm not quite at the mutton stage. Maybe a few more years..." After the interview, Katie was asked what she thought about a story in today's papers about women drinking too much, and she shockingly blurted out, "I would say I'm a binge-drinker. Because I don't drink very often, when I do it's a lot." Interestingly, since Katie accused Pete of missing Junior's recent parents evening earlier in the interview, we noticed that he had posted this message on his Twitter page last night: "Just went to J's parent evening. I honestly felt like a schoolboy again. Soon as I met headmaster, I felt I was going to get told off. Lol." Hmmm. Our eyebrow is officially raised...
