Katie Price mum brands Peter Andre "moody and insensitive"

Katie Price's mum has broken her silence in a shocking new interview, where she brands Peter Andre "moody" and "insensitive". Talking to The Mirror, Amy says she's only speaking out because someone has to stick up for Katie, and that her daughter is fed up of being painted as the bad guy all the time. "She did her best," Amy says. "But he [Pete] didn't want to know." Amy also claims that she could see the cracks in Katie and Peter's marriage months before they actually split, and that it was Katie's increased interest in her horses that annoyed Pete. "He must have been bored out of his head half the time," she admits. Peter has refused to meet up and talk to Katie since they split, but Amy thinks this is the best way for the pair of them to sort out their issues. "The mudslinging has got so bad that it has to stop," she says. "Kate gets a really hard time but she's trying her hardest and people need to give her a break." Pete has so far declined to comment on Amy's comments, but his spokeswoman did agree that the mudslinging has to stop.
