Five reasons not to mix wine and work...

heatworld’s memories of the heat Sports Day last Friday are a touch hazy at best. There was an awful lot of free booze. However there are a few memorable moments etched on heatworld's brain which it fully expects to see flash before its eyes as part of the best-bits package when it dies, namely:

1. Ed Mark and Film Ed Charles doing the wheelbarrow race together. The concentration on their faces was incredible.

2. Stylist's Bronagh’s dog Jack relieving himself on News Ed Hannah’s handbag (maybe he’d had too much wine too?).

3. Deputy Art Director Claire Lambert having to go to hospital with a dislocated shoulder after groping Digital Ed Jules. The two incidents were not related.

4. The look of utter bemusement on the face of Style Ed Ellie's gorgeous daughter Bea.

5. Film Ed Charles trying to be civilized and turn the event into a cocktail party as he handed around canapes on the rounders pitch.

Heroes of the day? Clare Hepworth for organising a lake full of alcohol to be delivered to Hampstead Heath, and Claire Lambert for surprising us all by being an amazing athlete. Good show chaps.
