When you look back over previous series of Big Brother, there's always the romances that stick out in your memory. Who could forget the sweet and touching, ahem, obsessive nature of Michelle and (Chicken) Stu in BB5? Then there was the, ahem, convincing and heartfelt love between Chanelle and Ziggy last year. And what about Jade and PJ...? OK, so some of them haven't been the best, but we're still holding out a bit of hope for this series. We started off with Lisa and Mario, but there's no fun watching a couple who are already an item. We want flirting and meaningful glances across the room. We had high hopes for Rex and Steph in the beginning, but clearly the voting public thought otherwise – oh, and then there's the little matter of Nicole. Then we had Jen and Dale, but that whole thing was all a bit dull and irritating to watch in the end... So, who are we left with? Well, over the past few days we've been noticing a definite "something" happening between Sara and Darnell. He's liked her for aaages, but only recently have the pair begun to get a bit more touchy feely with one another. However, we also think that Sara might have more than a little crush on a certain eyeliner-wearing male housemate. Last night, everything went a bit pear-shaped for Darnell and Sara in the romance stakes. The pair were busy play-fighting in the bedroom, while Lisa shrieked, "He's flirting! Are you flirting Darnell?" and it was all looking good, until Darnell decided to pin the Aussie down on the floor. Clad in just a T-shirt and tiny thong, Sara moaned, "This does not look good, I'm in a T-shirt and you're on top of me with your leg between mine." A stung Darnell quickly flounced off, and Sara climbed into bed with her crush Stu. He wasn't that impressed, however, and quickly put a blanket between them. Meanwhile, in the seating area, a mortified Darnell told Rex and Nicole, "This has got to be the f****** worst night of my life. That was the worst guy and girl moment in history." Maybe a tad OTT, Darnell? In the end he slept on the sofa and as a result has been banned from nominating this week. Harsh! Sara, on the other hand, clearly took offence to Stu's brush off last night, and has just told Rex in the noms pod that she's going to vote for him this week.
