Big Brother’s Michelle Bass has revealed that she’s currently going through a “worrying and frightening” cancer scare after pre-cancerous cells were found during a smear test. “I'm scared, but I know that I'm in good hands and I just hope this has been caught in time,” says the 28-year-old glamour model, who’s undergoing surgery to remove the cells this week. “My doctors hope that at this stage the cells have not broken away. They told me to try not to worry but that I needed treatment immediately. Jade's case has just proved how quickly something like this can escalate. I would urge anyone in this situation to seek treatment and not try to hide from the situation. I wasn't in the same Big Brother series as Jade, but we have met several times as we had the same agent. I was shocked when I heard about her diagnosis.” Michelle has decided to speak out about her health scare in order to highlight the importance of regular smear tests.
