We don't know about you, but we're not sure what we think of this new eviction procedure. Last week Rachael (who clearly had massive potential) was booted out of the Big Brother house having not even received enough nominations to be up. This week, Mario has a possible eviction looming, and we're worried that the same thing will happen again. We decided what we needed was a BB expert's opinion on the matter, so we asked the wonderful Brian Belo what he thought...
Brian says: "As this year's Big Brother reaches Friday night eviction climax, Big Brother seems to have unleashed a major twist to the nomination procedure. Now the nominated housemates are are given a task to compete against each other to take their head off the chopping block. At first I was quite annoyed with this big change to the show's format, but once I started seeing how it made the house viewing even more compelling, I started to warm to the idea more. Mario's reaction to Shabby giving him her nomination seat for eviction night was priceless. I've got a theory that last week the nominee name-swap housemate was evicted, Rachael, and the curse will carry on throughout the rest of the weeks. I might be completely wrong, but if Mario goes tonight it will definitely be the start of something. We'll just have to wait and see if the curse carries on next week."
Do you think Brian is right and Mario will get the chop tonight? We hope not! Make sure you're watching with us later (on Twitter) to discuss what happens.
Big Brother, tonight, Channel 4, 9pm
