Friday marked the final of Celebrity Big Brother 2012. Denise Welch was crowned the big winner (in a dramatic turn of events). And of course, we were on hand at the studios to have a catch up with the housemates after they had left the glorious compound...
Backstage, we witnessed some over-excited antics. For instance, the twins were jumping all over Kirk Norcross, singing their famous Take A Shot song at him. We also spotted members of the So Solid Crew excitedly getting their pictures taken with a very tired looking Michael Madsen and his beautiful wife. Who knew they were such fans? Then we did some chatting with the final few. And crikey, did they have some interesting things to say!
The Shannon Twins: 'Feel our butts!'
It’ll come as no surprise that we heard the twins coming before we even saw them. One of the girls was yelling at their agent, "I will admit I talk s***, so does everyone else in the house!" Fair point really.
The girls said that they had made up with Denise before they left the house. However, that didn’t stop them feeling ‘judged’ by the Loose Woman. Karissa and Kristina also told us that they had far from a warm reception when they were reunited with their former housemates.
"They were looking down [on us] saying, 'You talked s*** about us, we're not going to say hi to you!' ... It's just a lot of jealousy." Er, yeah girls, that’s what it was!
When the girls were quizzed on potentially having bum implants they jumped up and offered us to feel their famous bottoms, "You want to feel my butt right now?” the asked. “There's no implant in it!" heatworld had a feel, obvs, and we can report that the girls have very squishy behinds!
Michael Madsen: 'Topless Denise was disturbing'
When we greeted Michael, we have to admit that he seemed a little drained. He seemed particularly fragile when he noticed our dictaphone recording everything he said, "You have to remember that for a month I've been wearing a microphone around my neck, OK? And every time you take it off, there's an announcement to put your microphone back on... Do you know what that's like? ... Do you have any idea what that's like?" Yikes!
Michael continued, "This is the first time that I haven't had one on me... I can't even fart without you guys knowing about it". Poor fella, he has a point!
On what irritated him about Denise, Michael said, "What really annoyed me was that they tried to make so much out of a clash that meant nothing". Plus he revealed he thought Denise was acting strangely because she was sexually frustrated - deeming her jacuzzi night with Frankie as "disturbing". Yep, we’re definitely with him on that one!
