Ah… It seems like only yesterday the happy housemates were skipping around laughing, while Jedward frolicked about in little silk tunics. Happier times. Who would have thought a bit of fancy dress and some fairytale themed games would end up in tears, shock nominations and Frankie Cocozza locked in a treasure chest? Well, probably a lot of people, because Big Brother is just mean like that.
We knew it was coming, the time to lure some poor unsuspecting celebrities into the diary room, only to inadvertently reveal bitchy comments which are in fact being broadcast to the whole house. This time it was Michael Madsen and Natasha Giggs (a.k.a. Geppetto and Pinocchio) who had to dish the dirt as part of the shopping task. The result was a battle of who could be angrier at who, but sort of not angry at the same time.
Georgia Salpa was angry that Nicola McLean had said she “has nothing about her”, while Nicola was angry at Georgia for being angry. So then the two really angry housemates had a conversation, where Georgia told Nicola she was totally fine and not angry. But Nicola wanted to argue she was more fine. So basically, they were both really angry at each other, but totally fine about it. Makes total sense. Probably…
Georgia’s shock nominations!
It was a tough old day for Georgia. Not only did she have her argument that wasn’t an argument with Nicola, but she then had to pretend to be upset at nominating her frenemy. While the housemates mourned Andrew Stone’s departure, she was called to the diary room and forced to make the tough decision of who should be up for the public vote on Friday.
Unsurprisingly, she chose Nicola and Natasha. Both were quick to ‘forgive’ her though, with Nicola saying, “Everyone’s cool… we understand,” as she held her in a vice grip. That was before storming off.
Kirk and Georgia arrange a date!
There might have been claws out between the girls, but there was love in the air (tinged with the scent of desperation and an aroma of cringe) between Georgia and Kirk Norcross. “Do you like me?” asked Kirk. “Yeah,” replied Georgia after about ten minutes. He then officially asked her out (for the millionth time) and Georgia seemed to finally admit defeat, saying “We should probably go for dinner.” Perhaps perseverance is key after all.
Not everyone is happy about these romantic developments though. Adult film star Gemma Massey, who says she was dating Kirk before he went into the house, has been tweeting: “@LadyGemmaMassey @_TowieOfficial I don't think we will be back together again after his actions in the house! He did say he was in love with me but I'm done.” Eek! We wouldn’t like to be Kirk when he leaves!
