For some celebrities an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother can resurrect their career and see their popularity explode. For others the whole experience can be a bit of a disaster.
Nicola McLean has now revealed that she didn’t entirely lover her time in the CBB house, in fact she now admits that agreeing to appear on the show was the biggest mistake she’s ever made.
“It was horrible in there, everything was horrible,” Nicola has said on This Morning. “Honestly, it was probably the worse decision of my life to go in there.”
We love how melodramatic this statement is! But it gets even better… When the former Page Three girl was asked if the hefty appearance fee helped to ease the pain she claimed that the cash makes no difference to how she feels about Big Brother,
“No it doesn't,” she said, “But that's why I was doing it obviously, to try and help provide for my two little boys.”
Just think, Nicola’s two boys would be walking around barefoot and starving if their mum hadn’t bravely entered the house.
So, did Nicola really hate the entire Celebrity Big Brother experience? Not quite,
“There were good points,” she concedes, “I made some really good friends in there, but the editing is very clever.”
