Wow, what a night! We’ve finally got our Britain’s Got Talent 2011 winner; JAI MCDOWALL has finally triumphed, beating the hot favourite Ronan Parke.
The evening got off to a fun start with Steven Hall, his mash up songs included PJ and Duncan’s Let’s Get To Rumble. Sadly Ant and Dec didn’t rush the stage and join in.
Michael Collings sang his audition song, Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car, and won high praise from Simon Cowell.
Les Gibson took a risk with some new impersonations of judges Simon, David and Michael. Not all of his impressions quite hit the mark.
James Hobley did his ballet/modern dance thing and once again won over the judges who loved his routine.
Paul Gbegbaje took a risk by performing his own composition. Not only was his performance ace, but best of all Simon Cowell had to eat his words.
Ronan Parke took on Kelly Clarkson’s Because Of You, and earned a standing ovation from all four judges.
The only lady left in the competition Jean Martyn played so fast we thought she’d fall off her
stool. Simon called her musical fish and chips.
Jai McDowall's mega dramatic performance spurred Amanda to say she though he was the dark horse of the competition.
Razy Gogonea did some new mental things with his body and added some actual fire to his performance.
New Bounce went all soulful for a performance of Ain’t No Sunshine, they were of course totes adorbes.
