Biography:
Sexy scouse WAG Abbey was born in Liverpool and almost found fame as a singer with the girl band Genie Queen. They toured with Blue in 2004, but couldn’t get a record deal. Abbey’s real big break came with her appearance in the second series of Britain’s Next Top Model in 2006.
Abbey came second, impressing supermodel judge Janice Dickinson enough to be roped into a reality show with her in 2007. Abbey and Janice: Beauty and the Best followed Janice’s attempts to help Abbey break into the LA fashion world. She’s since appeared on Hell’s Kitchen and co-presented a couple of fashion-related cable TV shows.
On the back of her telly success and gorgeous looks, Abbey did the inevitable round of lads' mags. She’s graced the covers of Esquire, GQ, Arena, FHM, you name it, as well as appearing in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition in 2010.
Being a famous lingerie model, it was only a matter of time before Abbey hooked up with a footballer. She began dating lanky Tottenham and England striker Peter Crouch in 2006 and became instant tabloid fodder. There were sex texts and a moment of indiscretion with a stripper in Madrid, but Abbey took Peter back and the pair married in June 2011. They have one daughter together, Sophia Ruby, born in March 2011.
