Biography
Sexbomb actress and Angelina-wannabe Amber was born in Austin, Texas and dropped out of Catholic school at 17 to head to New York and start a career in modelling. Appearing in commercials and ad campaigns in her teens, she then moved to LA to pursue an acting career.
Starting out with small roles on TV series like The OC, she made her first movie Friday Night Lights in 2004 and bagged her first leading role in the 2006 action horror All The Boys Love Mandy Lane. Since then, Amber’s stuck mainly to hot-girl-in-horror-movie roles and action flicks, with her breakthrough coming in 2008 when she starred in Pineapple Express and Never Back Down.
Working her way up the Hollywood ladder, and doing some racy sex scenes that got the boys in a tizzy along the way, Amber is set to star alongside Johnny Depp in the forthcoming Hunter S. Thompson adaptation The Rum Diary. She’s also the star of the forthcoming Mad Men-style TV series The Playboy Club.
Amber previously dated oddball hunk Crispin Glover and is now seeing female artist Tasya van Ree.
