Biography:

Glee diva Amber was born and raised in LA. Her mum was a choir singer and began training Amber’s voice from the age of 2. After graduating from La Mirada High School in 2004, she auditioned for American Idol when she was 17 years old during the show's second season but was turned down.

Amber didn’t let this rejection get her down and went on to sing with the Los Angeles Opera, before winning the role of high school dive Mercedes Jones in the smash hit TV musical series Glee in 2009.
That same year she won a 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series with her Glee co-stars.

Alongside her Glee role, Amber is currently working on releasing a solo album of her own.
