Biography:
Inbetweeners star Blake was born in Greenwich and trained for an acting career at the renowned performing arts school the BRIT School from 2003. In 2007 he enrolled at the East 15 Acting school, performing in stage plays and fringe theatre productions, including performances in Richard III.
2008 was Blake’s breakthrough year. He starred in two episodes of the British telly institution that is The Bill before being cast as Neil Sutherland in the cult E4 comedy series The Inbetweeners. The show ran for three years, spawned a hit movie in 2011 and won Best Sitcom at the British Comedy Awards that same year.
A familiar face thanks to his Inbetweeners role, Blake has since appeared in the British movie Re-Uniting the Rubens alongside Timothy Spall, BBC Three sitcom White Van Man and in More 4’s comedy series The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret alongside Arrested Development stars David Cross and Will Arnett.
