Biography
William Bradley Pitt began his acting career with T.V. guest appearances, including a role on Dallas in 1987.
It wasn’t until Brad seduced Geena Davis's character in "Thelma & Louise" playing a cowboy hitchhiker that he shot to fame. Audience’s quickly were charmed by his good looks and millions of posters were sold across the U.S. However, it soon became clear that Brad was more than just a pretty face.
Brad went on to have leading roles in Interview with the Vampire, Seven, Fight Club, Ocean’s Eleven and more recently The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Brad’s chiselled looks led to him being described the world’s most attractive man which, for anyone who has seen Fight Club, is a pretty fair assessment.
In 2002 Brad appeared in two episodes of MTV’s Jackass running through the streets of LA in a gorilla suit.
After a high-profile relationship and engagement to Gwyneth Paltrow, Brad Pitt married Jennifer Aniston. However, disaster struck in 2005 when Brad signed up to film (the terrible) Mr and Mrs Smith alongside actress Angelina Jolie, then famous for snogging her brother and wearing phials of blood. Brad fell for Angelina during filming and the genetically blessed Brangelina was born.
However, it wasn't until January 2006 when representatives for both stars released the news they were expecting a baby together that their liaison became official.
The couple now have six children and it’s rumoured a wedding could be on the cards soon. Brad Pitt owns a production company named Plan B Entertainment, whose productions include the 2007 Academy Award winning Best Picture, "The Departed".
More recently Brad has starred in Quentin Tarantino’s 2009 film Inglorious Basterds which was a box office hit and received seven Academy Award nominations.
