Biography
Posh spice wannabe and Big Brother star Chanelle certainly had a tough time of it growing up. Her mother a drug-addict and prostitute, Chanelle was born in Styal Prison shortly before her mum was murdered by a client. Adopted and brought up in Wakefield, Chanelle was reunited with the grandmother and sisters at the age of 15 in Sheffield.
She was studying Spanish, Music and English at college before she hit the big time, winning a place in the eighth series Big Brother in 2007 at the age of 19. She had an on/off relationship going with perma-tanned sleazepot Ziggy Lichman on the show and walked out of house on day 62.
Since BB, Chanelle’s landed some presenting roles on VH1 and Nuts TV, as well as her own VH1 reality series Chanelle: Wannabe Pop Star that ran for one series in 2008. She’s appeared on any TV show that will have her, but she’s mainly managed to keep something of a profile by getting her kit off in every lads mag in the country as often as possible.
Chanelle’s also dated the usual plethora of football and rugby players, including Middlesbrough’s Matthew Bates with whom she had a son in 2010. Still in her 20’s she underwent liposuction and a boob job before dating Big Brother housemate-addict and Jade Goody’s widower Jack Tweed until July 2010.
