Biography
Charlie Sheen made a name for himself as an actor in the 1980’s starring in films such as Platoon, Wall Street and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. His mother Janet was an artist and father Martin Sheen a well known movie star, so it was no suprise that he wanted to have a (for want of a better word) crack at acting. He starred in his first film alongside his dad at the age of nine, aww.
Throughout the 90’s Sheen continued to work in Hollywood appearing in spoof film Hot Shots and the Scary Movie franchise. It was in 2003 that Charlie landed himself the role that would cause him the most controversy to date, as the rich womanizer Charlie Harper in prime-time show Two And A Half Men. The show is said to be loosely based on Sheen’s image as a ‘bad seed’.
Charlie also felt the need at one point in his career to start up a clothing line for children, he called it ‘Sheen Kidz’.
