Coleen first came to our attention as Coleen Mcloughlin, the girlfriend of footie player, Wayne Rooney. The lovebirds had been together since they were both just 16 and married in 2008, with their son Kai following in 2009.

However, Coleen was not like other WAGs, she wanted to make a name for herself. After all she was deputy head girl at school! Rather than relying on her WAG status, she used it as a platform to launch her own career. In 2007 she landed her own TV show, championing ‘real women’ in which Coleen searched out models for top brands. However Coleen’s Real Women was binned after two series after producers worried that Mrs Rooney was no longer relatable enough to be considered a ‘real woman’ herself.

Coleen also has her own line of fragrances, has written her biography Welcome to my World. She writes columns for top magazines, is the face of countless advertising campaigns and of course, has released an exercise DVD – like every good WAG should.

However, unlike most of her fellow WAGs, Coleen has become known as quite a style icon, best known for wearing high street fashion over designer. She has won countless style awards thanks to her down to earth approach, even appearing in British Vogue! Surely the highest fashion accolade there could be? Fashion savvy Coleen has designed sell out ranges for Littlewoods and was the face of George at Asda.

Coleen has always been completely supportive of her hubby Wayne, and has stood by him despite allegations he has paid prostitutes on numerous occasions including when Col was pregnant with their son.
