Biography
Paolo went to the Professional Performing Art School alongside future co-star Taylor Momsen. While most people spend their summers watching TV or driving their parents mad, American kids go to camp. And this was no different for Connor, who went to not just any summer school, but a drama summer school. He also took acting classes at the Lee Strasburg Theatre and film Institute.
His screen career started off with a role as a preteen murderer-rapist in Law & Order. But it was uphill from there – he had a small role in Clint Eastwood’s gritty film Mystic River and another in Oliver Stone’s World Trade Center. No stranger to theatre, he’s been in The Full Monty and some Shakespeare plays on and off Broadway.
In 2007, he got the role of Eric van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl. He played Blake Lively’s little brother for four seasons until 2011, when he left to join the cast of Revenge. He now plays Declan Porter in the hit ABC show.
