Biography

Born and raised an Essex lad, David has come a long way from Billericay, becoming the face of Dolce & Gabbana. After graduating from the University of Gloucester in 2001, his mates secretly entered him into a male model competition on ITV’s This Morning show. David won (just look at the man, how could he lose?) and in 2002 he was signed to the famous Select Model Management agency in London.

His modelling career was slow to take off, with David facing rejection after rejection, until Dolce & Gabbana selected him to be the face (and buff body) of their new Light Blue Pour Homme fragrance. As testament to his pulling power, the campaign received more than 11 million hits online and garnered a 50ft billboard in Times Square.

He’s since gone on to become the face of the D&G fashion house, strutting his stuff on the catwalks alongside the likes of Gemma Ward and ubermodel Naomi Campbell.

David is a serious petrol-head and currently blogs about his daily life and love of big engines on the Vogue website. He also shot a short film with fellow super-duper-model Helena Christensen and is currently dating The Saturday’s Mollie King. That is one lucky lady.
