Biography:
Emma ‘Julia’s Niece’ Roberts is the daughter of actor Eric Roberts and yes, the niece of Julia Roberts. Growing up in New York, Emma went to an all-girls school in California from 2004 to 2005. Visiting her famous aunt on set she caught the acting bug and landed her first role at age nine playing Johnny Depp’s daughter in 2001’s Blow.
Emma went on to small family film roles, including Spymates, a film about a spy monkey. Yes, really. She then became an overnight teen idol at 13 when she landed the role of Addie Singer in Nickleodeon’s Unfabulous TV series in 2004. The show became the most watched tween show in America.
Launching a pop career, Emma released her debut album Unfabulous and More in 2005, which also served as the show's soundtrack. Concentrating on acting these days, Emma has starred as Nancy Drew, in the teen flicks Ice Princess and Aquamarine, coming-of-age dramas like Lymelife, alongside her aunty Julia in 2010’s Valentine’s Day, and as one of the leads in Scream 4 in 2011.
Emma used to date actor Alex Pettyfer (the lucky gal) but since February 2011 has been wrapped around gorgeous former Glee star Chord Overstreet.
