Biography
McFly superhunk Harry was born in Chelmsford and went to school in Suffolk then Rutland before making his way into the music biz. Everybody in McFly has some link to Busted, and with Harry it’s that he appeared in the video for their single Crashed the Wedding.
He answered an ad in the NME posted by future bandmates Tom and Danny and successfully joined McFly on drums in 2003. By the following year, Harry had become a bona fide teen heartthrob after McFly got their big break touring with Busted.
To date, Harry and the lads have notched up a double-platinum-selling debut album, two number-one albums, seven number-one singles, seventeen top-ten singles and scooped a Best Pop Act BRIT award to boot.
The band’s number-one hunk, Harry had a wee fling with serious A-list totty Lindsay Lohan in 2006 when McFly starred in her movie Just My Luck. He started dating violinist Izzy Johnston in 2005 when her string quartet Escala supported his band on tour.
