Biography
Hayden Panettiere first came to our attention as The Cheerleader in the fab NBC smash hit drama Heroes. But before she began her battle to try and save the world with her superpowers, Hayden was quietly building her acting career from a young age.
Born in New York, her dad is a fireman, and her mum is a former soap actress. Her first role was in a Playskool ad, aged just 11 months! Following her mum into soaps, she landed her first soap role in One Life to Live aged 5, and her second on Guiding Light aged 8.
She then graduated to the big TV leagues playing Ally McBeal’s daughter in Ally McBeal, starring in hit cop show Law & Order: Special Victim’s Unit, and with a regular part as frizzy haired Jennifer in the hilarious Malcolm in the Middle.
Her big break though came with Heroes, where she played Claire Bennet for four years, and her biggest movie role to date has been in the fourth instalment of the Scream horror comedy franchise.
