Biography
Howard rose to fame with Take That. He was best known for his dancing skills and choreographed most of the bands routines along with the help of fellow band mate Jason Orange. Howard was also known for his inventive approach to hair styling and being ‘the one with the dreads’.
Howard had a rough time when Take That split in 1996. But he did fill the ten year gap with a stint as a DJ. Going under the alias DJ HD Howard gathered success in Germany where DJ HD still does occasional sets for his adoring fan base.
In 2007, Howard managed to puncture a lung when he did an over enthusiastic back flip during one of Take That’s live shows.
Despite Take That’s squeaky clean image, it seems Howard has a rather murky past when it comes to the ladies. While he was single at the time, it was revealed that the married star had a secret fling with a married mother of two in 2000.
Howard met his current girlfriend, Katie Halil, while filming the 2008 Marks and Spencer Christmas advert.
