When Jennifer’s ma and pa made Telly Salvas alias TV’s Kojak her godfather it was only natural that an actress had been born.
41 year old Jen rose to fame playing Rachel Greene on Friends, although originally being auditioned to play Monica Geller. As well as picking up a Golden Globe award for the role, Jennifer sparked women everywhere to flock to the hairdressers in a bid to recreate her swishy locks. Her layered ‘do managed to earn her the nickname of "America's First Hairdo" from Rolling Stone magazine.
Back then the Friends cast were the premiership footballers of TV land, becoming the highest- paid TV actors with individual salaries of $750,000 per show in 2000. After ten years the Friends decided to call it a day and Jen embarked on a quest to break Hollywood. Since then, Jennifer has managed to forge a successful movie career and a reputation as queen of the rom com starring in films like Bruce Almighty, Along Came Polly, The Break-Up, Marley & Me, and He's Just Not That Into You.
In 2000 Jennifer married Brad Pitt. All was rosy and it seemed this was a rare Hollywood marriage to last. The world was left shocked when the couple filed for divorce in 2005 amid rumours of Brad being linked to his co star at the time, Angelina Jolie. Women of the world felt Jen’s pain and there was huge public sympathy surrounding the divorce.
Since then Jen has graced the covers of hundreds of magazines, including a nude appearance in GQ, starred in many films and even launched a perfume. However, it seems Jen just can’t seem to find love.
