Biography
Johnny Depp is best known for being amazingly gorgeous. Oh yeah, and we suppose we should mention he does do a bit of acting too.
Johnny first appeared on our screens in the teen cop drama 21 Jump Street. However, it was his leading role in Edward Scissorhands that transformed Johnny from teen pin up to Hollywood star. Trouble was, Johnny was never keen on being the typical leading man and turned down a number of massive blockbusters, it was actually Johnny who was the first choice for what became Keanu Reeves’ role in Speed and Brad Pitt’s in Legends of The Fall.
Despite this, he has starred in countless films, including Blow and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, earning a reputation as one of Hollywood’s best and most in demand actors notching up one Golden Globe, three Oscar and two BAFTA nominations. Johnny is known for his flambouyant characters. Famously he plays the brilliantly weird Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
Johnny is a long time collaborator with his director bezzie mate Tim Burton and has starred in seven of his films, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Alice in Wonderland.
Johnny has been linked with a series of super hot Hollywood ladies. He had a long term relationship with the sticky fingered actress Winona Ryder and even had ‘Winona Forever’ tattooed on his arm. However, it wasn’t forever and following the split he had the tattoo altered to romantically read ‘Wino forever’.
He was also linked to our very own Kate Moss during the 90s. It wasn’t until 1998 that he met his now wife, Vanessa Paradis, with whom he upped sticks and left Hollywood for France.
