Biography
Born in Berkshire, fittie Josh Bowman went to the vahry posh Wellington College. The same Wellington College that Will Young and Made In Chelsea’s Caggie Dunlop went to. We told you it was posh!
Josh first hit headlines not because of his acting skills, but because of his holiday romance with late singer Amy Winehouse. He met her during her extended stay in St. Lucia where he also happened to be holidaying, and they hit it off. After being papped with his arms around her, he told the press she was “lovely” and that he wasn’t only into her for the publicity. The relationship didn’t last long.
Before all this, he studied method acting (that’s really serious, frowny acting, FYI) at New York’s Lee Strasberg Institute. He then had small roles in TV just before joining the cast of Holby City for two years.
While he and Miley Cyrus were filming So Undercover, they developed feelings for one another and were papped snuggling. And those are not the only famous friends he has – he counts rugby player Danny Cipriani as a good mate from home, and his sister, Scarlett, plays Maddie Morrison in Hollyoaks.
In 2011, he made it into Screen International’s Stars Of Tomorrow list after getting the role of Daniel Grayson in Revenge. He now dates co-star and on-screen love interest Emily VanCamp!
