Biography:
Glee’s nerdy star Kevin was born in Texas, and grew up with Disney starlet Demi Lovato. He had his first brush with fame in 2003 when he joined an American R&B boyband R&B, NLT, which stands for Not Like Them from 2003. One of NLT’s songs was used in the Bratz: The Movie soundtrack and they had another track produced by Timbaland, but they didn’t bother the charts much and split in 2009.
Kevin got his big break in May 2009, being cast as nerdy wheelchair user Artie Abrams on the smash hit TV musical phenomenon that is Glee. His Glee co-star Chris Colfer originally auditioned for the role, but it was won by Kevin.
As well as Glee, Kevin has starred in episodes of True Blood, the US version of The Office, and Zoey 101, as well as in Katy Perry’s Last Friday Night music video.
