Perma-tanned Lauren Goodger is the 24-year-old The Only Way Is Essex beautician, famous for her nine year on/off romance with drop dead gorgeous nightclub promoter Mark Wright and, of course, those vajayay moments at the hands of beautician Amy Childs.
Lauren Goodger also shouldn’t be confused with glamour girl Lauren Pope, who also appears on the ITV2 show…
Lauren is originally from Buckhurst Hill in Essex, and not Brentwood, but it was her 600-strong birthday bash at the Sugar Hut that kicked off The Only Way Is Essex series, with behind the scenes action on all the planning / fake-tanning.
Her relationship with Mark Wright is one of the central themes to the programme, and it’s a love/hate kind of a thing at best. That said though, Lauren does have Mark’s name tattooed just above her vajyjay, so she must love him at least a little bit!
Lauren’s favourite things include white wine, champagne, vodka (starting to sense a theme here?), spending money, holidays, being photographed. Which all equates to not being very shallow at all, doesn’t it? She hates Mark Wright (from time to time), people who bad-mouth others, people who are flash.
“I had to put up with him [Mark] being photographed with pretty girls and going out all the time. It constantly challenged our relationship, but I always stood by him.” Aaaw… bless.
Oooh… and we should also confirm Lauren is NOT pregnant with Mark’s baby, despite the rumours in the press, and that her involvement in a second series may be in question as she was been offered a ‘fashion-related’ job in Dubai by brothers Adam and Simon Ryan.
